Easter/Spring

Event though it did snow yesterday here in Ohio - UGH! - Spring is here and Easter is Sunday!  I love Easter!!!!  It's Holy Week.  I know for many Easter is about chocolate bunnies and coloring eggs.  But for me it's about celebrating Him!  It's about the reason that when I leave this Earthly life I will be with Jesus is Heaven!  It's about how Jesus went to the cross sinless to pay the ultimate price for each and every one of us...and then three days late the tomb was empty!!!  Jesus is ALIVE!  Easter is certainly a day to celebrate!!!

And at Digistamps4Joy we are certainly celebrating!!  Our this this week is Easter or Spring.  I used "Floral Cross" for my card.  I wanted the image to be the sole focus of the card so I kept it pretty large.  When searching on Google for a coloring idea for the flowers I found a picture of these soft yellow petunias.  They were so pretty and I knew I wanted to use that buttery yellow shade.  Add some paper for a background and a flower with a button....this is what you get:
