For my card I used an image called "Mother Child 1". It's perfect! As with all my cards, I kept it simple. It's funny because I love cards that have so much on them - but when I try to do something similar it never turns out. I guess I've just come to learn that my style is basic and simple...that's just the way it is.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
- Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
- Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
- Stampin' Royalty - Mom
- ABC Challenges - Keep It Simple

Zella - I too love other crafter's cards that have a lot of embellishments and such, but like you when I try it somehow it just looks too gawdy. I always ask my hubby to have a look before I add stuff to mine, and he gives me an honest opinion. Sometimes I don't like what he said, but most of the time I go with his input.
I love your card, and you picked the perfect image for it. I almost chose the same one, but I made my card with the intention of selling it, and sure enough my chiropractor bought it with some other things I made for her. I will use this image someday, most likely for a craft fair later in the year!
