We all have things we are comfortable with - not only in our every day life, but also in our crafting. And I certainly have my comfort zone. When it comes to crafting, my crafting comfort zone is the normal 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" (A2) size card. Anytime there is a challenge where the theme is a shaped card, I stress and worry and think there is no way that I can do it. So there I was - looking right in the face of the Eureka Stamps Challenge this week: Shaped Cards. What in the world would I do? Then I decided that I wanted to really step out of my comfort zone and not do a circle or oval (something I could cut out with my trusty Cuttlebug. I'm starting to move towards Fall cards now and thought a pumpkin would be fun. So....here we go - a pumpkin. It's also the first time that I've ever done any "fussy cutting" of an image. I'm not sure if I'm thrilled about this card - but I do like it. And who knows - this might just be the start of more shaped cards for me. :)
Thanks for stopping by today! Blessings to you and to your families.
