Carriers of Faith....final farewell.....

This is a sad day....it's the final post for the Carriers of Faith group on Splitcoast Stampers.  I've been blessed to be part of this group and have enjoyed it so much!!!  Kelly has been a wonderful leader and I give her honor here because she certainly deserves it!

Our hostess for our final challenge is Shelly and she gave us the following challenge:

We had a priest come to a prayer group one evening, and he said in confessions the number one comment people make is how they struggle with Forgiveness. I am one who struggles with that as well, so I choose that as my topic for October and our final month together.

"Therefore I tell you, all you ask for in prayer , believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance, so that your heavenly Father may in turn forgive your transgressions." Mark 11:24-25

So make a card- tell someone you have trouble forgiving that you love them and send it off in the mail to them!

I must admit that this challenge was truly a challenge for me...because honestly I don't have trouble forgiving people.  It's taken me a long time to get to that point...but I've learned that holding that grudge only hurts me and not the other person or people.  So I've learned to forgive and let things go.  I mean gee, if Jesus can forgive me of ALL my sins, can't I forgive someone for something small?  There's only one way I have been able to get to this point and that is because Christ gives me the strength.  So with that in mind, I made a card with one of my favorite verses......

So farewell to Carriers of Faith....it's been a true blessing to be able to spend time with these talented ladies of faith!!!  I love you all!!!!

God bless you today!!!!

Zella, I loved reading your post - words from your heart!

And your card is so refreshingly beautiful, with the panels of designer paper and that well-loved Scripture!

It's been a joy getting to know you better through the CoF. (((HUGS)))

Beautiful card- loving the sentiment too- you are fortunate to be at that point- it is a hard concept to grasp and carry forth! Wonderful to have met you in the COF blogging group- will see you on the FB page where I cannot keep up! So many wonderful things going on there too: )
