Twist of Faith Challenge #44 - Make Your Own Background

It's Tuesday again and that means it's a new challenge over at Twist of Faith Card Challenges!  This week the challenge is to "Make Your Own Background".

Our sponsor this week is
Lacy Sunshine

The image I chose was "Twoo Love".  While I did use a "wood" background paper, I created leaves using another paper.  The image was then popped up using pop-dots.  I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers.  It didn't turn out how I wanted it - but I was trying to add some "texture" or feathers on their bodies (instead of following the exact lines of the image on their tummies).  I chose the verse for the card because they looked like "twoooo" friends hanging out - and aren't we thankful for those who are in our lives?

Do you have an idea for a background you've been wanting to try?  Now would be a great time to let that creativity flow!  Join us this week at Twist of Faith - and remember that your card must include a scripture, positive quote, or inspirational verse.  We look forward to seeing your project/card!!

I'm also submitting this card for Word Art Wednesday

Thanks for stopping by!!!!  Have a blessed day!

Hi Zella...Thanks for visiting my Blog and I am glad that I joined your Challenge. I so appreciate the wonderful words you left in my Blog yesterday and so humbled and thankful to the Lord that my Blog post spoke to your heart and encouraged you to be bold in your faith. Like you, I have been attending Church, serving the Lord every opportunity He gives me and I didn't expect that I would be sharing what God has taught me by Blogging/Crafting. Lately, I have seen, first hand, how wrong is being called right and vice versa and there seem to be no reasoning at all for people behaving the way they do but that they just want to to completely eliminate God in this country. God spoke mightily in my heart and led me to really dig deeper into His Words. I went for Bible classes just to learn more and didn't expect to be there for nearly 4 years now. I thought it was just for me but God had a plan and that learning placed all the puzzle pieces of my basic knowledge of what the Lord has done for me to completely depict a wonderful picture and solidified my faith in Him. God did not intend for this knowledge and experience with Him to stay inside me...It's a light that needs to be exposed to those living in darkness and I have decided not to be intimidated but to give myself wholeheartedly to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. We all need to be bold---bolder than anyone who declares there is no God---for we know He does exist and He still saves and He will be coming soon.

God bless,
JO ANN
